Lynn ARTS - Art Explorers 6 - 12 year old during Summer Vacation
Each week offers children the opportunity to explore a variety of visual and performing arts
forms with activities ranging from puppet-making, print-making, painting, drawing,
mask-masking, to improvisational games, dance, script-writing, costume and prop design and
more! Each session culminates with a short performance and art exhibition. Our Art Explorer's
program is designed to encourage creative thinking and artistic exploration and to increase
self-confidence in a fun, safe environment! More information

Printing into the Fold - Gelatin Prints & the accordion book – 4 week series
@ Essex Art Center, Lawrence, MA
4 Tuesdays, 6-8:30pm, July 6-27, $75
Gelatin Prints and the Accordion Book. We will focus on
a series of small prints that can be worked into a book or
two. Gelatin plate prints work up so quickly that it is to
develop a theme or focus for a small book. This class is for
anyone who is curious about accordion books or gelatin
prints. EAC provides materials. Limit 8.

Thursday, August 5th, 9am-3pm, $50
Relief Printing / foam plates - a one day workshop -
recycle your meat and produce trays and bring them to
class. We will trim down the foam plates and work into
them with found objects and simple tools to create a series
of relief blocks. Then we will use water-based inks and
create multilayered monotype prints. EAC provides
